This week saw a lot of first. For one thing Christopher seems to be getting stronger, still without steroids. He pulled out his feeding tube Thursday afternoon and was holding it in his hand as if to say... hey...feed me. He also got his first pacifier as you see above. He was so content and happy he had to hold onto his hair or his ear when he was sucking on it. He even seemed to hold onto the paci with his hand to keep it in his mouth. He eyes got so big and alert while he was sucking on it. We will be using the paci a lot more in the near future. The Dr's are thinking about another round of steroids to try and wing him off of his ventilator and onto a cpap machine. That will be a big step but maybe will happen next week. Until then, I hope good days continue to turn into good weeks. Go paci!!!

Kristi that is such wonderful news. It is so encouraging to hear how strong hes getting. He looks soooo cute there he IS a little miracle. He sounds like hes beginning to develope a personality too. Long may this continue I cant say how happy i was to chat to u too kristi it was great to hear from u.
