Not holding his stamina

His 2 day dose of steroids is over and he is holding onto the ventilator but unable to move to the cpap like the Dr. wanted.  He continues to desat just about everytime he stretches or moves around too much, which means his oxygen levels just can't stay up where they need to be.  He is recoving a little better than last time so maybe some progress has been made.  They continue to increase his feedings, up to 12 cc every 3 hours now so he is a little piglet.  He has lost a little more fluid weight so maybe we will start to see a true weight very soon.  He is around 1 pound 14 onces we think, however some of that is fluid.  It seemed this morning he was having a bad day and I was pretty sad, but as the day went along I found a strength in watching him fight back and try to open his eyes, battling through a sedation drug for his seizures that should have most anything his size flat as a board.  He is a fighter and I hope that pulls him through.
